I'm the one who gets to make the fires with a bit of help from my Dad and I go around finding the kindling and then I use a lighter or sometimes a ferro rod which is very tricky because you have to make sparks with it. I know that I have to be safe around the fire because it can be dangerous even though it is good to have. When I first learned to light a campfire it took a long time to get the fire going because it would just go out and I knew there had to be something that would stay on fire for a long time. I knew that I could make something in my Dads Garage so I watched some YouTube videos and learned to make my own fire starters and they work really good.
Here are some pictures of me and my adventures last year, and there will be more this year since we will go camping soon once it gets a bit warmer in the mountains.
